This hidden gem is located on a small private island adjacent to the main island, making it easy to reach from anywhere on the larger island of Roatan. With a semi-private little beach, you can unwind and enjoy the crystal clear warm water right at your doorstep. The staff was amazing and provided excellent service, always ready to help. Breakfast was great, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The resort also offers great facilities like a pool, hammocks, and beach recliners.
The advertisement photos may be a bit misleading, as some areas of the resort looked older and not as well-maintained as pictured.

Great view and attentive service, but prices are not reasonable. The property is quite attractive, especially the view from the cliff top and the staff showed they are very helpful and friendly. The nearby attractions are interesting too. We especially enjoyed visiting the local market and the restaurants around the area.
The prices for the rooms, rentals, and services are too high considering the overall quality. , the property is a bit difficult to find, and there was no clear sign.

Our stay at Barefoot Cay Resort was absolutely amazing. The property is stunningly beautiful and the rooms were immaculate. We loved the peaceful and quiet atmosphere, perfect for a romantic getaway. The one-bedroom villa we stayed in was simply breathtaking.
One drawback of staying at Barefoot Cay Resort is that it is quite secluded. If you want to explore other parts of Roatan, be prepared to pay exorbitant cab fares.

My stay at this resort was absolutely fantastic. The best aspects were the stunning and quaint location on a tiny island, with lodging for only a handful of guests, making it extremely private and cozy. The snorkeling on the grounds was beautiful and full of life, with warm and clear water. The food at the lone restaurant was great and served by a caring and upbeat staff. Our private bungalow was super cozy, with full kitchen amenities that we took full advantage of to save some money. Additionally, car rental was easy to do, and the staff helped us with getting vehicles. It was convenient to explore the more popular areas like West Bay or go on an adventure to the east in just about 45 minutes.

I had an amazing stay at a small hotel on a beautiful island with excellent service and facilities. The hotel was impeccably clean and had convenient parking and transportation options. It was located close to the dive shop with easy access to the ocean, perfect for someone like me who has loved diving since childhood. The breakfast served by the staff was delicious and they were very welcoming and accommodating throughout my stay.
Everything is as I hoped it would be.
